Growing up in the Blue Mountains near Sydney, Australia, in a family of artists and writers, Barnaby's creative and innovative spirit was nurtured at a Steiner school from a young age, where he was noticed as a young gifted artist and was selected to represent Australia in UN's Year of Child. His inspired creativity paved the way to become pioneer of web technologies from their inception in the 1990s, equipping Barnaby with a unique perspective on the coming digital evolution, which he foresaw a decade before it was popular. A rich tapestry of experiences deepened following a profound shift in awareness from his 38 minute Near Death Experience in 2015 in Tulum. Arriving back for his "second life", and together with his wife Bruselas, he splits his time between North America and Asia to pay respects to the lands that are the origins to the ancient traditions that form the foundation for his life and that inspire him to be dedicated to a life of service.

Barnaby's spiritual journey is central to his life, deeply rooted in Buddhist meditation, his 2 hours per day practice began over 30 years ago in Australia and expanded into 30 to 45 day silent retreats as he traveled through Asia. These annual silent retreats to India, Burma, and Thailand, plus his guided executive retreats (created for the needs of today's visionaries seeking more than just a getaway, but rather a gateway into the magic of awakening), have not only profoundly shaped his approach to technology, infusing it with a deep sense of guided purpose, but have also enriched his own teachings, impacting many lives.
